The photocatalytic activity of nano TiO2 powder is much higher than that of conventional TiO2. And the particle size of TiO2 nanoparticle is small enough, which is beneficial to gain or lose electrons and has stronger oxidation and reduction ability.

Since nano titanium dioxide powder can carry good photocatalytic properties and super-hydrophilicity under the action of (ultraviolet) light energy, the organic matter is finally oxidized into inorganic small molecules such as CO2 and H2O. And then its super-hydrophilic property spread rainwater on the film layer and fully wash the glass to remove the contaminated particles.
