Breif introduction of Tin Dioxide(SnO2) used in battery:
As the anode material of lithium-ion battery, SnO2 has a high specific capacity, but due to the large volume expansion during the charging and discharging process, the electrode material falls off, pulverization and agglomeration, resulting in its cycle stability and poor rate performance. It has been found that changing the microscopic morphology of SnO2 materials can effectively improve their electrochemical performance and prepare nanostructures, such as nanoparticles, nanorods, nanosheets, nanospheres and other special multi-level nanostructures. Due to its large specific surface area and special morphology, it can not only provide more active sites for the reaction, shorten the lithium ion transport pathway, but also alleviate the volume expansion to a certain extent.
